In a Premier League drama, Crystal Palace and Leicester City battled it out in a 2-2 draw, with neither side willing to back down.

Leicester City scored the first goal when Jamie Vardy netted in the 21st minute, with an assist by Wilfred Ndidi, making it 1-0.

Straight after the break, Stephy Mavididi found the net and increased the team's lead.

In the 47th minute, Jean-Philippe Mateta reduced the score for Crystal Palace, with an assist by Tyrick Mitchell.

The equaliser came in stoppage time, when Jean-Philippe Mateta found the net for Crystal Palace.

The result means the fourth game in a row without a win for Crystal Palace.

So, Crystal Palace are still in 16th place and Leicester City are in 15th.

Crystal Palace play Manchester United on 21 September, Everton on 28 September and Liverpool (home) on 5 October. Leicester City's next opponents are Everton on 21 September, Arsenal on 28 September and AFC Bournemouth (home) on 5 October.
