With a resounding 3-0 victory over Go Ahead Eagles home at Philips Stadion, PSV have surged to the top of the Eredivisie standings after four games, edging ahead of AZ by two points. Go Ahead Eagles currently resides in 14th place in the league.
PSV started the match best and took the lead early when Guus Til netted after 11 minutes, with an assist by Luuk de Jong, making it 1-0.
In the 27th minute Hirving Lozano increased the lead for PSV with an assist by Luuk de Jong.
PSV found the net once more, this time through Joey Veerman, with an assist by Malik Tillman, in the 63rd minute.
This makes an impressive four straight victories for PSV's.
PSV's next Eredivisie games are against NEC (home) on 14 September, Fortuna Sittard (away) on 22 September and Willem II (away) on 28 September. Go Ahead Eagles play Sparta Rotterdam (away) on 15 September, Ajax (home) on 21 September and FC Groningen (away) on 29 September.
