The home side Newcastle United won a tightgame against Tottenham Hotspur at St. James' Park. The team won 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.

The match was even in terms of goals until Newcastle United took the lead in the 37th minute through Harvey Barnes, with an assist by Lloyd Kelly.

1-1 came through an own-goal in the 56th minute.

Alexander Isak scored the decider with an assist by Jacob Murphy, in the 78th minute.

'It got away from us unfortunately. We had the chances to win the game probably comfortably, but we walk away with nothing, so it's a bitter pill to swallow. It is what it is,' Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou told Sky Sports.

For the home team, the results mean fourth place in the table. Tottenham Hotspur are 10th in the league.
