The Premier League clash between Everton and AFC Bournemouth at Goodison Park started with a goalless first half on Saturday. However, AFC Bournemouth asserted dominance in the second half, securing a convincing 3-2 victory.
The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Michael Keane made his mark as he netted, with an assist by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, to give Everton the lead.
With 57 minutes on the clock, Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin found the net following a Dwight McNeil assist to double their lead.
The goal that reduced the score to 2-1 came in the final minutes, when Antoine Semenyo found the net for AFC Bournemouth, with an assist by Dango Ouattara.
But AFC Bournemouth still had time to score an equaliser. Lewis Cook scored in the 90th minute, with an assist by Luis Sinisterra.
Luis Sinisterra right after this, with an assist by Justin Kluivert, ensuring AFC Bournemouth took the lead.
'They had one shot on target before their goal, and we just threw the game away,' Sean Dyche said following the shocking 3-2 loss.
'There's been enough damage here in the time I've been here, and we've got to find a way through it,' he added, having heard loud boos from the home fans at the full-time whistle.
AFC Bournemouth are now in seventh place, while Everton are in 20th and last place
