The away side Aston Villa won a tightgame against Leicester City at King Power Stadium. The team won 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday.
The game was scoreless until Amadou Onana found the net for Aston Villa in the 28th minute, with an assist by Ollie Watkins.
With 63 minutes on the clock, Aston Villa's Jhon Durán found the net following a Lucas Digne assist to double their lead.
Facundo Buonanotte reduced the deficit for Leicester City in the 73rd minute with an assist by Wilfred Ndidi.
Aston Villa are in sixth place after the game, while Leicester City are in 15th.
'I'm very happy, we competed like we did in the first two matches, (August is) a difficult moment for every team because of playing with the transfer window,' Unai Emery said following the win.
Leicester City play Crystal Palace on 14 September, Everton on 21 September and Arsenal (away) on 28 September. Aston Villa's next opponents are Everton on 14 September, Wolverhampton Wanderers on 21 September and Ipswich Town (away) on 29 September.
