A football drama unfolded at VfB Stuttgart as they entertained FSV Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga, the clash concluding in a 3-3 draw.

In the 15th minute Jamie Leweling increased the lead for VfB Stuttgart with an assist by Alexander Nübel.
FSV Mainz 05's Nadiem Amiri made it 2-1 in the 43rd minute as he scored a penalty.
With 62 minutes on the clock, FSV Mainz 05's Jonathan Burkardt found the net following a Andreas Hanche-Olsen assist to equalise.
The 3-2 goal to take the lead came in the final minutes, when Fabian Rieder found the net for VfB Stuttgart.
But FSV Mainz 05 still had time to score an equaliser. Maxim Leitsch scored in the 90th minute, with an assist by Silvan Widmer.
VfB Stuttgart are now in 15th place in the table, while FSV Mainz 05 are 12th in the league.
