Girona clinched a victory over Osasuna in Thursday's La Liga showdown at home. Initially leading 1-0, Girona showcased resilience and determination, to secure a 4-0 win.
The match was goalless until Girona took the lead in the 34th minute through Bryan Gil, with an assist by V. Tsyhankov.
Straight after the break, V. Tsyhankov scored and increased the team's lead.
With 56 minutes on the clock, Girona's Abel Ruiz found the net following a Y. Herrera assist to increase their lead.
Girona further increased the lead as C. Stuani netted, with an assist by D. van de Beek, in the 90th minute.
Girona are now in seventh place in the table, while Osasuna are 11th in the league.
